2017 retreat has special meaning for pharmacy faculty

Poison Center celebrates 50th Medication Cleanout
The Texas Panhandle Poison Center conducted its 50th Medication Cleanout collection April 22 at the TTUHSC campus in Amarillo. During the four-hour collection period, event volunteers saw 743 cars drop off more than 2,317 pounds of unwanted, expired or unused medications.
Casino Night benefits St. Jude

Pharmacy faculty awarded promotions, tenure
At its Feb. 24 meeting, the Texas Tech University System Board of Reagents approved the promotion of six School of Pharmacy faculty members.
TTUHSC students join local heath care effort
TTUHSC pharmacy and nursing students and faculty teamed up with volunteers from St. John Baptist Church, Amarillo College, West Texas A&M University and the City of Amarillo to conduct a free health fair focused on the top health issues faced by the African-American community.
